Today, we are putting the spotlight on JR Causton, material handler at our Coatesville facility. JR plays a critical role in loading and unloading supplies, moving and properly storing items, and ensuring the right materials are in the shop when needed. We recently sat down with JR to learn more about his career background, favorite projects, and more. Check out what he shared!
How long have you been with JGM and what is your role?
JR: I started working for JGM in April 2024. I am a material handler at the Coatesville plant.
What is your career background? How did you learn about career opportunities at JGM?
JR: Prior to working for JGM, I was in the Army for eight years. I heard about JGM while attending school at Universal Technical Institute (UTI). JGM had a booth set up at UTI, which is how I became familiar with the company.
What is the most exciting project you have worked on to date?
JR: The SpaceX job!
What is something people may be surprised to learn about you?
JR: I observed over 20,000 explosions while in the Army.
What is the best piece of advice you have received that helps you in your career?
JR: Always take pride in your work.
