Pickling Line Project

JGM played a major role in the expansion of the existing steel mill and construction of a new mini mill.  Our mechanical work included the installation of the plant Coil Handling Rail System, Slitting & Packaging Finish Line, Coil Repair Line, PLTCM Roll Shop and Push Pull Pickle Line.  The Push Pull Pickle Line (PPPL) included setting over 400 pieces of equipment, within a .5mm tolerance, with a total weight of 1,400 tons.  The 800’ long PPPL also included 200 tons of structural steel, exhaust stack, sedimentation, tank farm and ECO pickle section.  In all, JGM installed and aligned over 2,000 tons of equipment and executed 60,000 field hours, without a lost incident.
