Uncompromising First Aid Skills & Resources

When you’re building the impossible, uncompromising safety is the number one priority. To demonstrate our commitment to safety, earlier this year, JGM team members Tanner Crum and Kyle Wick developed a First Aid Support Team (F.A.S.T.). Comprised of over 12 JGM team members, F.A.S.T. allows us to render first aid immediately to a co-worker, site visitor, or subcontractor in the event of an accident. Since we first announced the First Aid Support Team, continual progress has been made for constant improvement for the group and the services they can provide. Recently, all team members completed over 13 hours of CPR/AED and Practical First Aid Training at the Westwood Fire Company.

Additionally, JGM has invested in first aid supplies and “Go Bags.” These bags will be readily available to trained F.A.S.T. members and include many basic life support items. JGM management also approved the purchase of several AED’s, which will be placed around the main office and shop in case of an emergency.

“Safety never stops, so it is important to always implement new skills, supplies, processes, and procedures that would be critical if an accident were to occur,” said Kyle Wick, F.A.S.T. leader. “Through monthly F.A.S.T. team meetings, our group stays up-to-date on the latest safety trends and demonstrates their dedication to uncompromising safety and keeping our workplace accident free,” added Wick.
