How long have you been with JGM and what is your role?
Robert: I have been with JGM for the past three years. As journeyman ironworker, I work in the field and travel often, which I enjoy. I get to do a little bit of everything. From being a machine operator and a fitter to focusing on safety and material handling, my role is diverse.
Who has been a mentor or inspiration in your career?
Robert: My father also works at JGM, so he has been a mentor and inspiration to me. If it was not for him, I would not be where I am today. My mother is also a very big supporter of mine.
What is the most memorable project you have worked on so far at JGM?
Robert: My most memorable project to date was installing a new lime slaker and silo for Covanta Energy in York, Pennsylvania. Being a part of something so big is a great feeling.
