The Falcon: JGM’s 2025 Q4 Newsletter

A Message from Our Founder & CEO

I hope everyone enjoyed some well-deserved downtime over the holiday season. It’s a chance to reset not just for business, but also for family, health, and personal growth. It’s also the perfect opportunity to reflect and take a visionary look at the year ahead.

What went well last year? What are we proud of? What could we have done differently? Asking those questions not with regret, but with intentions is what separates good teams from great teams. I believe 2026 is the year we take another big step forward.

This year marks a major milestone: JGM’s 25th Anniversary!

What started as a small steel fabrication & erection company back in 2001, has grown into a national industrial construction & fabrication player, trusted by some of the top fortune 500 owners. That growth is the result of two and a half decades of grit, resilience, and relentless commitment to excellence.

Most importantly, it’s the result of our people.

We now have several team members who are approaching and, in some cases, have already surpassed 20 years of service with JGM. That kind of loyalty and consistency is rare in any industry, and it speaks volumes about the culture we’ve built together.

As we step into our 25th year, we’re entering it with momentum.

Our backlog heading into 2026 is over $70 million, and we’re poised to take on some of the most exciting and complex work we’ve ever done. From heavy fabrication and field construction to technology integration and quality initiatives, we are ready.

This year, we will continue to invest in our people, our systems, and our culture. You’ll hear more about upcoming training, leadership development, and how we’re strengthening our Uncompromising Safety & Quality initiatives to support our long-term vision: to become the safest, fastest, and most effective industrial construction and fabrication partner in North America.

Let’s make 2026 our best year yet!

JGM SAFETY CORNER

As we closed out 2025, we wanted to thank every teammate who continues to make safety a daily priority. Your commitment to planning work safely, watching out for one another, reporting hazards, and stopping work when something doesn’t look right has made a real impact this year. Because of you, more teammates are going home safe, more risks are being identified early, and our safety culture continues to grow stronger.

2025 Safety Highlights

  • Strong participation in safety training and programs
  • Increased reporting of Good Catches and near misses
  • Continued focus on hazard awareness, housekeeping, and fall protection
  • Teams stepping up to mentor new employees and apprentices – these efforts show what living our values truly look like.

Looking Ahead to 2026

In 2026, we’ll continue to build on this momentum by focusing on:

  • Planning the work and working the plan – stronger pre-task planning, hazard identification and job safety briefings to ensure every task starts safely
  • Strengthening hazard recognition before work begins
  • Empowering every teammate to speak up and stop unsafe work
  • Continuing to improve training, accountability, and communication

Our goal remains simple and unwavering:
Everyone goes home safe. Every task. Every shift. Every day.

Thank you for your continued dedication to safety because at JGM, our people are what matter most.

JGM ON SITE: PROJECT UPDATES

Livingston Update

JGM is proud to be fabricating D1.5 bridge columns and girders for the Livingston Avenue Bridge Replacement Project, a major infrastructure upgrade replacing a Civil War-era railroad bridge over the Hudson River near Albany, NY.
Our scope includes fabrication of counterweight and lift span towers, counterweight boxes, and girders for a shared-use path for pedestrians and cyclists. The total top frame girder assembly weighs an impressive 1,000 tons. Before any steel ships for coatings, our team will complete a full in-shop trial assembly to ensure fit-up, quality, and performance.
We are proud of our team and the precision they bring to every ton of steel!

JGM: PROJECT WINS

JGM Awarded Data Center Erection Project in Jeffersonville, Ohio

JGM is proud to announce an structural steel erection award supporting the construction of two 282,000-square-foot data center facilities in Jeffersonville, Ohio. JGM is partnering with SC Steel for steel fabrication, with Walbridge serving as the General Contractor and Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the end user.
Both facilities will be erected concurrently within a demanding 13-week schedule, requiring disciplined planning and flawless execution. Each building includes approximately 3,000 tons of structural steel, with JGM responsible for erecting the main building shell, generator yard structures, and shroud steel, totaling roughly 56,000 man-hours across the project.
To meet schedule and site constraints, JGM will operate two cranes per building, supported by just-in-time steel deliveries directly to the hook. With limited laydown space and tight site logistics, safety and coordination are critical to maintaining steady production and protecting all personnel on site.
This project further strengthens JGM’s position in the rapidly expanding data center market, driven by long-term demand for cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure. As this sector continues to grow nationwide, JGM remains well positioned to deliver complex, mission-critical facilities on accelerated schedules.
This award reflects JGM’s core values in action — We Plan. We Adapt. We Succeed., Uncompromising Safety, and Creating Value Through Better Solutions and highlight our team’s ability to execute safely, efficiently, and with confidence in high-consequence environments.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Meet Coleman Hauber:
Project Manager

1. What is your role at JGM, and what does your day typically look like?
I am a Project Manager at JGM, responsible for managing both fabrication and construction projects. While it may sound cliché, there really is no such thing as a typical day in this role. Each day starts with a check-in with our fabrication teams at Coatesville and Sinking Spring, followed by coordination and planning meetings with internal teams and our customers. Throughout the day, I work to keep projects aligned on schedule, scope, and expectations, addressing issues as they arise and helping ensure work progresses efficiently.

2. How long have you been at JGM, and what interested you in being part of the team?

I started at JGM in July 2025. What interested me most was joining a company that is continuing to grow, learn, and improve. The culture at JGM emphasizes continuous improvement, which I find both exciting and fulfilling, and it’s something that I value in both my professional and personal development.

3. How do you keep complex projects on schedule while coordinating multiple teams?
The keys to keeping projects on schedule are organization and communication. It is critical to maintain detailed schedules and project trackers, along with thorough notes, to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Daily check-ins with internal teams help identify potential issues and pinch points early so they can be addressed before impacting the schedule. Equally important is open and consistent communication with customers and other external stakeholders to keep everyone aligned on expectations, priorities, and overall project timing.

4. What advice would you give someone new to project management?
Dive in and ask questions. Project management can be intimidating at first, especially when learning about a new industry or a new type of project, but there is no faster way to learn and grow than to immerse yourself in the work. At the same time, don’t be afraid to ask questions and relying on the experience of others—learning from the team around you is one of the most valuable tools you have.

5.  What is something people do not know about you?

I love hiking and traveling to National Parks. My wife and I are working toward visiting all 65 National Parks, and so far, we’ve been to seven – including both parks in Hawaii. My favorite hike to date is Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park. The final stretch is a narrow ridgeline with steep drop-offs on both sides, and you use chains bolted into the rock for support. It’s physically demanding and tests your nerves, but the views from the top are unreal and make it completely worth it.

New Year, Fresh Start: The Importance of Your Annual Physical

A new year is the perfect time to pause, reset, and put your health first.  An annual physical is a simple yet powerful way to stay proactive helping identify potential health concerns early, often before symptoms appear. Routine screenings, lab work, and vital checks can catch issues like high blood pressure, cholesterol concerns, or other conditions when they are most manageable.

Your annual physical is also an opportunity to have meaningful conversations with your healthcare provider about stress, sleep, nutrition, mental health, and lifestyle changes. These check-ins ensure your care reflects where you are today and supports your overall well-being.

Best of all, most insurance providers cover preventive well visits at 100%, making it an easy and cost-effective way to start the year strong. As you embrace a fresh start, schedule your annual physical, it’s a small step that can make a big difference all year long.
