JGM was contacted by the SMS group to help support the commissioning efforts of the new automated alloy system being installed at the US Steel- Fairfield Facility. This was part of US Steel’s $215 Million investment for a new State of the art Electric Arc Furnace. Our millwright experts worked with US steel and the SMS group to oversee the installation of the new fully automated alloy system. Once the install was complete, we moved into commissioning to ensure the system operated as intended.
