JGM was awarded this project based on both our estimating and project management teams asking the right questions. This hopper called for a rubber liner to be installed, which would add four weeks to the delivery. The rubber liner is necessary in order to provide the adequate abrasion resistance against the material being processed in the hopper.

Not only did we have to allow time for the liner installation, we also had to ship the hopper—a 16-feet-wide load—the opposite direction of the job site. Ultimately, JGM provided the client with an alternate solution that was more cost effective and readily available for installation by our own in-house fabricators.

We shipped the oversized load halfway across the country to Genoa, Nebraska. We delivered the hopper on time and scheduled installation the day after arrival.
